CHRISTMAS MARKET: Peacehaven Town Council Christmas Market tomorrow, Saturday, at Community House and Meridian Centre Mall, 9am to 3pm. Entertainment and refreshments and lots of stalls. Santa will also be visiting during the event and will spend some time in his grotto.
PEACEHAVEN PLAYERS: This year’s Panto is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Meridian Centre, Peacehaven. Performances are on December 7, 8 and 9 at 7.30pm and December 10 at 2pm and 6pm. Tickets are available at various prices by going on the web site www.peacehavenplayers.co.uk (no booking fee) or telephone 01273 681861.
MERIDIAN EVENING WI: Our members were pleased to welcome Sheila Knight from The Flower Shed to our meeting last week. We were entertained with a quiz, the winner receiving the bouquet we had watched being made. There was great interest in the sales table which had scented candles, decorations and other items. The December meeting will be our Christmas meal. We meet again on January 25, 7.30pm in the Anzac room, when we have a Burns Night theme. New members are always welcome.
SATURDAY CHARITY MARKET: Tomorrow the market will be organised by Peacehaven Scouts.
COFFEE MORNINGS: This week the coffee mornings will be organised by Sussex Pet Rescue on each morning.
COMMUNITY CAFE: Now open six mornings, in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue.
KNOW DEMENTIA: Memory moments café. Everyone welcome, especially those with memory problems and their family supporter. Every Friday from 10am to 1pm, Anzac Room, Community House. Meridian Centre.
CINEMA: The next film at the Peacehaven cinema will be Inferno on Wednesday December 21 at 7.30pm, Main Hall, Community House, tickets £5 from the Information Office.
