SUMMER FAIR: The Mayor of Peacehaven, Cllr Jean Farmiloe, would like to thank all residents, friends and neighbours who visited the town’s biggest event in its 100th year on Saturday; over 2,500 visitors flocked to Centenary Park to support the council’s community fair. PTC would like to thank sponsors, volunteers and staff for their help in making the event a success.

MERIDIAN EVENING WI: Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, 7.15pm for 7.30pm in the Anzac Room, when our speaker will talk to us about community policing. New members are always welcome.

CINEMA: The film London has Fallen will be the next showing at Peacehaven’s cinema on August 3 at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale now from the Information office at £5.

HEALTHWATCH: The Big Red Bus, Health and Social Care in Peacehaven, how is it for you? Tell us what you think. The bus will be parked at the Meridian Centre South car park between 1.30pm and 4.30pm on Monday.

SATURDAY MARKET: The Mayor of Peacehaven will be holding tomorrow’s market, please pop along for a cup of coffee and a chat with the Mayor from 8.30am to noon. Community House Foyer, Meridian Centre.

COFFEE MORNINGS: This wee the coffee mornings will be organised by: Monday and Wednesday, Sussex Pet Rescue; Tuesday, Lyn; Thursday, Wendy Veck; Friday July 29, the horticultural society.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ: Now open six mornings in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue.

KNOW DEMENTIA: Memory Moments Café. Everyone welcome, especially those with memory problems and their family supporter. Every Friday from 10am to 1pm, Anzac Room, Community House. Meridian Centre.
