CHURCH SERVICES: St Margaret’s Church Rottingdean Christmas Tree Festival 2015: Today, Friday, 11am to 6pm; tomorrow, Saturday, 11am to 6pm; Sunday, noon to 4pm. On display over 40 Christmas trees decorated by local residents, organisations and businesses. Refreshments will be available during the festival. Stalls selling homemade jams, preserves and pickles. Live jazz music on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and on Sunday 4pm John Mann plays the organ. Admission £3 including brochure. Children free if accompanied by an adult. GATEWAY CAFÉ: At Centenary Park. Peacehaven Town Council are delighted to announce that the café will reopen tomorrow, Saturday. The new leaseholder Nicola Papanicolaou is passionate about real food and is keen to reflect this in her menu. The café will open from 9am to 5pm in the winter months extending to 6pm in the summer.

CAROL CONCERT: This year’s community carol concert will be held on Wednesday in the main hall, Community House, Meridian Centre. There are still tickets available for this popular free event which are available from the information office.

MATINEE MELODIES: Tickets are available from the Information Office at £8 for the show on Thursday December 17 at 2pm in Community House, Main Hall.

MARKET AND RAFFLE: On Saturday December 12 Peacehaven Town Council will be holding a Christmas market from 9am to 3pm in the Mall and Community House. Father and Mother Christmas will be visiting for this day only. Raffle tickets are available from the Information Office.

BURN’S NIGHT: Peacehaven Town Council in collaboration with Dine and BHT are organising a Burn’s Night on Saturday January 23. Tickets will be available at £12.50 from the Information office. The evening will include, Scottish dancing, a three course meal, Piper and the Haggis ceremony by the Town Crier. A full evening’s entertainment guaranteed.

MEETING: Planning and Highways committee will meet on Tuesday in the Anzac room at 7.30pm.

MARKETS: Tomorrow, Saturday, the Charity Market will be held by the Peacehaven and Telscombe Scouts.

COFFEE MORNINGS: On Tuesday Seahaven Lionesses, Thursday Seahaven Scouts, Friday December 11 Pet Rescue.

BOVIS HOMES: Peacehaven Town Council have offered Bovis Homes up to 10 parking spaces only within Centenary Park, (not the spaces directly in front of the Bowls Club), to use between the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday only, to take some pressure off Arundel Road, as the development continues.
