Sports Beer Festival: Don’t miss the Langney Sports Beer Festival taking place as part of the clubs 50 year anniversary. It’s £7 per entry or £15 in advance to include a £10 beer token sheet. All ticket sales include a commemorative glass. You can purchase your tickets directly from the club or via On Friday 21st August, they have ‘Fo Sho’s’ from 8.30pm performing and the event is from 6 until 11pm. On Saturday 22nd August, it opens from noon until 10pm. Mel Hayes hosts an acoustic set from 2 to 5pm, Bourne Chorus Choir is from 6 until 7pm and Joel White Duo takes place from 8pm. Advance tickets are available now until 20th August. The event is open to all but club members get a £1 beer token when club membership card is shown. They’ll be 15+ real ales, also ciders and perry. If you live in Kingsmere: your nearest shops are based in the Crumbles. Asda Supermarket is open from 7am until midnight on Monday’s and then 6am until midnight from Tuesday until Friday night. Saturday closes at 10pm. Asda reopens on Sunday’s for trading hours between 10am and 4pm. Your closest pharmacy is Boots, which is also in the retail park. They open from 8am until 8pm every day except on Sunday’s, which is between 10am and 4pm. The pharmacy at Boots is open until Midnight every day except Sunday, which again closes at 4pm.
