Hellingly and Horsebridge

SUNDAY PET SERVICE: Bring along your well behaved little and large pets and loveables to Hellingly Church this Sunday for a special service and blessing and to thank God for them. Enquiries to 01323 440450. There is an earlier 8am Holy Communion service.

TEA IN THE BARN: Tomorrow from 12 noon to 4pm there will be tea in Meadow Farm barn, Coldharbour Road, Lower Dicker, BN27 3PS with the Torino quartet at 2.30pm, an open garden event and ramble over the fields. Enquiries to 01323 844268.

ACTIVE PLAY: Summer Holiday Active Play Sessions at Hellingly Country and Roebuck Parks have been arranged for Wednesdays 4pm to 5.30pm and Thursdays 11.30am to 1pm throughout the whole of August starting on 5 with the last sessions being on 27 August. PATRONAL FESTIVAL: Following Renewal of Vows service last month, nearly forty members of the congregation enjoyed a celebration picnic in the area just outside Hellingly church door. Tables and chairs were set out in the sunshine, and a choice of ploughmans and delicious desserts were on offer. It was greatly enjoyed by everyone and a huge thankyou is due to Carol Haywood and her helpers who organised and served the food.
