SECRET GARDEN: Tomorrow, at MistyAcres on Horsebridge BN27 4DN from 11am to 5pm there is a fundraising event for St Wilfrid’s Hospice offering plants, bric-a-brac, books, refreshments. This is a lovely garden with birds and rabbits and a wildlife pond to browse around amongst chickens wandering and bees working. Entry is by suggested donation of £2 adults and U15s free.
HELLINGLY CHURCH: 8 am Holy Communion – Hellingly, 10.45 am Holy Communion – Hellingly. (Fourth Sunday – 10.45am Family Service – Hellingly). Every Thursday 9.30 am BCP Holy Communion at Hellingly. Look out in July – the Family Service will be a Pet Service.
GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE: The Garden of Remembrance was discussed and a simpler design was agreed. The eastern boundary of the churchyard is thought to be the most suitable area. The Chancellor is not in favour of individual marker stones but prefers a book of Remembrance, with a stone indicating the Garden of Remembrance. A quotation will be sought.
