REMEMBRANCE DAY: At 11am on November 11 the Last Post was sounded in the Park at the War Memorial. The annual service was led by the Rev Blanch of St Marys and St Peters with other local ministers. Those taking part included standard bearers of the British Legion, The Royal Sussex Association, students from the Military College, a choir from the Eastbourne Academy and many local residents. The names of the fallen from both world wars were read out and honoured. It was a very moving occasion.
