AUTUMN: September is the start of a new year in education and ushers in the beginning of autumn. One morning last week, Canada geese did a fly-over, honking loudly in search of new pastures. Their irregular, v-shaped formation flying apparently makes it easier for the birds to observe their surroundings and follow their leader. Now’s the time to look out for new feathered migrants as well as residents.
