FOR those aged seven years and over and children’s half term holiday club is being held at St Andrew’s School, Meads, until Friday, June 8. There will activities including specialist art, pottery, sculpture, walks to the beach, picnics and sporting activities. For further details call 700200.

MICHAEL Stumbles will give a recital of Musical Experience with various themes, today (Wednesday) at 1pm in All Saints Church.

ON THURSDAY, June 8, the charismatic showman and entertainer John Mann will present a programme of music and anecdotes in the Winter Garden at 2.30 pm. There will be plenty of audience sing-alongs.

ON SATURDAY, June 9, the Eastbourne Ramblers Club has a leisurely five-mile walk around the Cuckmere Haven. Meet at the Exceat Country Park bus stop at 9.45am. Good views and a tea room at the end of the walk.

Next Wednesday (June 13) a five-mile evening walk has been arranged, starting 7pm from Chalk Farm Hotel, Coopers Hill.

THE SHADOWS tribute band The Boys will play at a coffee morning in the Under Ground Theatre on Saturday (June 9) 10am–noon.

THE MAYOR Cllr Mike Thompson and his wife will attend the Upperton Reformed Church, Upperton Road at 10.30am on Sunday, June 10. This marks the Church Festival and the service will be led by the associate minister Rev Howard John - all welcome.

PASTOR Freddie Brooks will speak to members of the New Hope Baptist Church Friendship Hour at 2.30pm on Tuesday, June 12. Welcoming tea is served from 2pm.

AGE CONCERN advises of various activities at the centre in Junction Road, for anyone over the of 50.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10am–3pm, there is a day club with opportunities to meet new friends, join in a range of interesting activities or to just relax in the comfortable surroundings.

THE EASTBOURNE Downland Ranger leads a weekly, circular three-mile walk, which lasts two to three hours and takes in local history, flora, fauna and geology. For more details call 415200.

THE Devonshire Children’s Centre, Seaside, has a five-week baby massage course on Thursdays, beginning on June 13. This is for babies aged three to six months. Pre-booking essential, 464160.

THE Eastbourne Seniors Club has two well-equipped snooker rooms at the club in Cornfield Lane, with a number of vacancies. The rooms have a private club atmosphere. Ring the club steward on 728157.
