POLEGATE Rambling Club sets off again tomorrow (Thursday March 22) and their walks include Up and Over - a 5.5 mile circular walk around Jevington via Folkington.

The walk takes in two ways, Downlands, one gradual and two steep inclines, six stiles, and will be taken by Mike.

Or alternatively, Over and Under the Bluebell, is nine-mile walk, mostly flat, with fields and woods.

CHLOE’S Fight for sight - Jayne Bigsby is running in the Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday March 25, in aid of Chloe. Donations or sponsorship may be left at Haine & Son, 65 High Street, Polegate for this event.

POLEGATE Gardener’s Society takes place on March 24, at St Johns Church Hall from 2-4pm.

JUMBLE sale on Saturday March 24, at Willingdon Community School, Broad Road, Willingdon, from 10am to 12noon, in the school hall. POLEGATE WI is running a produce stall outside the Co-op on Saturday March 31. Please come and sample their wares, cakes, pies and garden plants.

EASTER Fair on Saturday March 31, at Trinity Church hall from 10am to 12noon. There will be an Easter bonnet parade, teas and coffees and hot cross buns.
