A BIG thanks to Di, from the Snug Cafe, situated at The Drive Pub, Victoria Drive, from the staff from Ocklynge School for the loan of the Tudor costumes.

They all looked great and the children enjoyed their day of Tudor activities and feasting. The Snug Cafe opens daily for hot food at reasonable pricses, 7am-7pm.

FAMILY ROOTS: Eastbourne and District Family History Society holds its next meeting on Thursday, June 7, 7.15pm-7.30pm, at Ocklynge Junior School, Victoria Drive.

Meet Audrey Gillet who will give a talk entitled ‘The Hollywood Saga’. It costs just £1.50 for visitors and there will be a library and book stall to help you with family history research which is freely available.
