POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary of a property in Linden Close on Sunday 17 June.
The break-in happened between 2pm and 2.45pm.
Items including a silver Nokia mobile phone and a Packard Bell laptop were stolen from an open lounge window while the owner was sitting in another part of the house.
Detective Constable Phil Cracknell from the East Sussex Priority Crime Team said, “We would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area or has been offered any of these items for sale.
“This appears to have been the work of an opportunistic thief and I would like to remind home owners to please not leave valuable items on display near insecure windows or doors.
“If you have any information that could assist police with their enquiries please call 101 quoting serial 1147 of 17/6 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
