Ninety-five Cub Scouts from Eastbourne district have earned the Chief Scout Silver Award, the highest award available to Cubs.
The Cubs received their awards at a special celebration event attended by their families and leaders.
The awards were presented by Ashley Whymant-Morris, District Commissioner for the Scouts in Eastbourne.
The Chief Scout Award award involves each Cub Scout facing a series of challenges.
The Cubs take on a range of activities including fund raising for a charity, abseiling, kayaking and demonstrating technical skills such as map reading.
Carl Bird, assistant district commissioner for the Cubs Scouts, said he was very proud.
He said, “I am proud of the commitment and enthusiasm shown by all of them.”
He also paid tribute to the Cub Scout leaders who had supported them to gain these awards.
