Vandals attack Eastbourne property

Vandals twice attacked a property in Eastbourne this week.

According to police, on April 6 officers were called around 9.35am to reports of criminal damage to a property on Paradise Drive.

Police believe the damage was caused some time during the previous night.

A further report of criminal damage to the same property was received around 9.30am on April 7. It is thought the damage was caused between 9pm on April 6 and 3am on April 7, police say.

This comes as residents shared on the Paradise Drive community Facebook group that they had seen young people causing criminal damage to the memorial ground and golf club on April 5.

Anyone who saw what happened, who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area or who may have any other information about criminal damage in Paradise Drive is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 278 of 06/04.
