Three people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Eastbourne.
At about 5.40pm on Monday (October 30), police were alerted to a young man who had been stabbed in Lushington Lane, Eastbourne.
The 21-year-old local man suffered serious but not life-threatening wounds to his back, and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
A 21-year-old man from Eastbourne has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop in a vehicle and assisting an offender.
Two 18-year-old women, both with no fixed addresses, have been arrested, one on suspicion of GBH with intent and one for obstructing a constable. All three have been released under investigation.
