Police find woman sought over Eastbourne bank card theft

Police say a woman sought over the theft of a bank card at an Eastbourne taxi office has been cautioned.

An appeal was put out with CCTV image of the woman, suspected of taking a phone with a bank card inside the case at Sussex Cars on July 20.

Following this, Sussex Police said officers arrested the woman on Tuesday (August 25) and interviewed her.

The woman accepted a formal police caution for the offence, with the agreement of the victim, according to police.

Officers have thanked members of the public who provided information.
