Police called to street fight in Eastbourne

Officers were sent to the scene in High Street, Old Town, at around 3.30pm on Saturday (May 23) following reports a number of bikers had broken into a fight.

However, Sussex Police said officers arrived within six minutes of the 999 call at 3.34pm, but anyone involved had dispersed.

A spokesperson for the force said, “The area was searched and several men on motorcycles were stopped nearby but there was no evidence to connect them with any offence.”
