February 4:

Jason Bond, 35, of Manor Road, Eastbourne, was found guilty of two charges of being in breach of a court restraining order by attending an address at Hailsham. The offences took place on September 20 and September 21. He was remanded on bail until March 2 for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

Finley Jones, 20, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing eight cans of lager worth £10.98, from Angie’s Stores, Claremont Road, Seaford, on November 12. He also pleaded guilty to being in possession of a knife at Church Road, Seaford on November 13. He pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court custody on December 5 and admitted being in breach of a suspended sentence made by Lewes Crown Court, for an offence of wounding and causing grievous bodily harm. He pleaded guilty to four other charges of theft of alcohol and food from Co-op in Seaford in January and to assaulting a woman by beating at Co-op in Seaford on January 10. He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on February 17 and remanded in custody.

Lily Baddeley, 18, of Milton Road, Eastbourne, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offence took place at St Leonards Road, Eastbourne, on January 4. She was given a one year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £25 in compensation.

Lewis Davis, 26, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to destroying a shop window worth £830. The offence took place at Eastbourne on September 1. He was ordered to pay £830 in compensation.

James Fearn, 33, of Bridgemere Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall vehicle on Upper Avenue, Eastbourne, on January 5, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 74 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £400 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Leah Gray, 23, of Bourne Street, Eastbourne, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer.
The offence took place at Pembury Road, Eastbourne on January 4. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £50 in compensation.

Louisa Zeybek, 27, of New Road, Crowborough, pleaded guilty to driving a Toyota vehicle on Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne, on July 13, while over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 74 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. She was fined £200 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Paul Farrell, 44, of Grand Parade, Hastings, indicated guilty pleas to six charges of making indecent images of children and one charge of being in possession of indecent images of children. The offences took place at Eastbourne, between December 26 2015 and March 25 2019 and involved Category A, B and C images. He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on March 4 and released on conditional bail.

Matthew Gladding, 21, of Faversham Road, Eastbourne, indicated guilty pleas to being possession of heroin and crack cocaine and to assaulting a police officer. The offences took place at Eastbourne on August 19. The court made a community order with a requirement of 120 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £100 in compensation.

February 6:

Arash Nowrouz, 25, of Hartington Place, Eastbourne, was found guilty of using a motor vehicle on Cheapside, Brighton, on April 11, with an eight inch jagged piece of Perspex, from a previous collision, protruding from the front of the vehicle. 
He was fined £300 and ordered to pay £300 in prosecution costs. 
His driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.
