December 21:

A 17-year-old Eastbourne youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to stealing £280 cash. The offence took place at Eastbourne on July 1 last year. She also pleaded guilty to damaging a laptop computer at Eastbourne on June 30. She was referred to the East Sussex Youth Offending Service for a three month contract.

A 17-year-old Eastbourne youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a knife in a public place, at Longville Road, London, on October 26 last year. The court made a Youth Rehabilitation Order with a four month electronically monitored curfew between 9pm and 7am.

December 22:

Charlie Jeffery, 20, of Samoa Way, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Fiesta on Ashington Road, Eastbourne, on September 5, last year, while twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 73 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. 
He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Eastbourne on the same date. Magistrates ruled that there was no obligatory driving ban due to special reasons in that ‘it was a short distance of 27 metres, no other cars were in the area and he was confronted with a panicked situation with no intention of driving further’. He was fined £120 for the insurance offence.

December 23:

Sam Rose, 25, of Coombe Shaw, Ninfield, Battle, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle at Paddock Gardens, Polegate, on January 26, last year, with cannabis in his bloodstream. He also indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis at Polegate on the same date. He was fined £461 and banned from driving for one year. He was given a six month conditional discharge for the possession offence.

Nathan Holden, 34, of Athelstan Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi vehicle on Ersham Road, Hailsham, on July 3, last year, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Olivia Haizelden, 19, of Brookland Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen vehicle on The Rising, Eastbourne, on June 13, last year, with cannabis in her bloodstream. She was fined £80 and banned from driving for one year.

Jordan Froud, 32, of Grange Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to Driving a Vauxhall Vectra on College Road and Furness Road, Eastbourne, on October 31, while over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 69 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. She was fined £290 and banned from driving for 17 months.

Michal Lozinski, 40, of Ceylon Place, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Cornfield Terrace, Eastbourne, on October 24, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 44 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. 
He was fined £80 and banned from driving for 13 months.

Callum Knight, 20, of Churchdale Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall vehicle on the A22 Hailsham Bypass on May 4, last year, with cannabis in his bloodstream. He indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis at Hailsham on the same date. 
He was fined £169 and banned from driving for one year. 
He was given a six month conditional discharge for the possession offence.
