Knife seized after man arrested in Eastbourne town centre
A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, according to police.
Police said the 29-year-old man was arrested following a report of an altercation at a house in Ashford Road at 7.30am today (August 2) and remains in custody.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “No injuries were reported, however a knife was seized.
“The road was partially closed while officers carried out their work and has since reopened.”
