Eastbourne man charged with raping teen in Hailsham

An Eastbourne man has been charged with raping a young teenager in Hailsham.

Police said Tre John Bunby, of Harold Drive, Eastbourne, was arrested on Tuesday night (April 16).

The 26-year-old was charged with two counts of raping a girl below the age of 16 and is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today.

Police said the alleged offences occurred in Hailsham in October.
