An Eastbourne teenager is being taken to court after allegedly trespassing at a primary school.

The 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with stealing a lolly from the school freezer.

The crime allegedly occurred in August last year at a primary school in Eastbourne.

The boy has pleaded not guilty and is due to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
