Council looking into closure of Eastbourne letting agent

East Sussex County Council says it is looking into the sudden closure of an Eastbourne letting agency.

The agency, Dukes Letting Department, is also being investigated by police after closing its doors on February 17.

A county council spokesman said, “We are aware that this limited company has recently ceased trading and are currently trying to establish which liquidator has been appointed.
