Police are increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 14-year-old boy from the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, London, who went missing on Thursday, (March 16).
Devente Mayers from Australia Road, Shepherd’s Bush, W12 was last seen in Eastbourne, but had been staying at a relative’s address in Seaford.
He is believed to have wandered off while with friends.
Devente is described as black, 5ft 8ins tall, slim and with a short black afro hairstyle.
He was wearing a black Adidas tracksuit top with red beading, blue jeans and black trainers.
Inspector Mark Evans said: “We are clearly concerned for the welfare of Devente who has been missing for 48 hours. I would appeal to anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact Sussex Police.”
Anyone who has seen or thinks they have seen Devente is asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org, report details online at sussex.police.uk/contact-us/response-to-appeal or call 101, quoting serial 964 of 17/03.
If located and Devente requires medical treatment or is in danger, call 999 immediately.
