Community groups urged to take stalls at fun day

COMMUNITY groups are being given the chance to set up stalls at Polegate Residents’ Association’s second family fun day this summer.

The event, which will take place at St John’s Church hall and grounds on June 11, from 1pm to 4pm, will enable community groups to boost their funds with a host of fun activities including a tombola, the human fruit machine, beat the goalie, card games, guessing games, hook a duck, as well as plants and bric-a-brac stalls.

This day will showcase all that is on offer in Polegate to all age groups.

It can aid recruitment of members and add to your funds whilst raising awareness of your group, club or cause.

All money raised goes back to your own group.

The Residents’ Association is also on the look out for entertainers to help the afternoon go with a swing and is keen to hear from Morris Men dancing troupes.
