Bourne Chorus, the Eastbourne based close vocal harmony group, will sing again in support of St Wifrid’s Hospice this weekend. On Saturday April 18 the group will be singing in the foyer at St Wilfrid’s Hospice at 11am, and will then be moving on to sing at the Arndale Centre from 12noon until 1pm.
All the services offered at St Wilfrid’s are free, and during 2014 the hospice was able to care for 490 patients in the Eastbourne area alone. Recently Bourne Chorus presented a cheque to St Wilfrid’s for more than £500 following Christmas Eve singing at Haddon Hall Hotel and Hadleigh Hotel.
Through concerts in previous years Bourne Chorus has been proud to support the JPK Project Sussex, Samaritans, and Macmillan Cancer. This year at their spring concert, Bourne Chorus members will again be raising money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice. A Spring Afternoon with Bourne Chorus will be taking place at the All Saints Chapel, Darley Road at 4pm on Sunday May 10. Tickets (£10 each) are available from the box office: 01323 479732, as well as from Tourist Information Centre. For more details visit www.bournechorus.co.uk
