Cllr Stephen and Daniel Shing for were both re-elected with a substantial majority for the Willingdon and Polegate ward earlier this month.

The UK is the stop we chose in Europe to film.

“Stephen Shing’s family is very unique and is very actively involved with the local community and politics in the UK, it is remarkable that as a family the have become the official opposition group in a large district council consisting of 55 Councillors.”

Song Zhang, managing partner of the Buffet Time Restaurant, said “I am delighted to have the opportunity to host the celebration party for Stephen and Daniel’s successful re-election.

“It is our honour they live in Sussex, where my family and I live and work. Stephen Shing was the first ethnically Chinese candidate to be elected as a county councillor in the UK in 2001. Now we have two county councillors of Chinese origin in the UK , Stephen and Daniel.”
