The British Heart Foundation (BHF) shop in Eastbourne is looking for more volunteers.
The festive period is the busiest time of the year for the nation’s heart charity and this year it is appealing for volunteers to lend a hand to make a real difference this Christmas.
Volunteers are essential to the success of the charity shops and they play a vital part in the fight against heart disease. The Eastbourne store needs 40 extra hours help per week over the Christmas period, so any time that local people can spare will be greatly appreciated.
Angie Vidler, regional manager for BHF south east shops, said, “The contribution our volunteers make is extraordinary – we simply couldn’t run our shops without their support.
