DEMELZA Hospice is asking people to donate unwanted Christmas gifts to its Eastbourne charity shop.

The children’s hospice, with 15 shops across Kent, East Sussex and South East London, has seen a significant drop in donations and is urging the local community to donate any unwanted gifts or clothes.

Claire Jordan, Demelza’s head of retail operations, said, “Our stocks of saleable items are severely down on this time last year and we are urging people to think about donating their unwanted gifts or to have a clear out and donate anything you don’t need to Demelza.”

The charity is asking the people of Eastbourne to drop off their unwanted items to the shop at 220 Terminus Road.
