Willingdon Golf Club hosted a charity golf match between Eastbourne’s two largest taxi companies for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
Nearly sixty drivers and friends took part in a charity challenge match for the Eastbourne Borough Council Challenge Cup.
Organisers Don McPhee (Sussex Cars) and Gary Young (720 Taxis) said a big thank you to Willingdon Golf Club for their hospitality. They also thanked Eastbourne Borough Council for sponsoring the trophy, along with Club Class Insurance and Visick Cars of Eastbourne.
The players enjoyed a high tea and were joined by Eastbourne Mayor Pat Hearn and former MP Stephen Lloyd who made the presentations. More than £400 was raised.
