Cat trapped in Eastbourne roof

Firefighters used advanced thermal imaging equipment to rescue a cat stuck in an Eastbourne roof.

Crews were called to a home in Motcombe Road following reports the poor puss had become trapped at around 6.30pm last night (Wednesday).

According to the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, they used an aerial rescue platform and thermal imaging camera to find and recover the stranded cat.
