A CHILDREN’S charity is to receive a Christmas card boost. Advanta, an Eastbourne accountancy firm, made a seasonal gesture with a donation to Demelza, the children’s hospice.

In what has become a charitable tradition for Advanta, the company gave £250 to Demelza rather than send numerous Christmas cards.

Delmeza provides support for life-limited or life-threatened children and their families.

Yiotis Diomedou, director at Advanta, said, “Our many clients welcomed this initiative when we first suggested it and as a consequence it became a regular Christmas event. Demelza performs a truly amazing role that deserves the support of as many people and organisations as possible. It would be difficult to find a more deserving cause.”
