Caravans worth thousands stolen from Seaford site

Police in Seaford are appealing for information after two caravans worth more than £13,000 were stolen from a site in Seaford.

The gate barrier at Buckle Caravan and Camping Park was forced sometime between 10.20pm and 10.50pm yesterday (Wednesday) and the two caravans taken. No vehicles were seen but it is thought the stolen vans were towed away separately.

The stolen caravans were both white and one was a COMPASS RALLYE 635 worth £6,000 and the other a LUNA FREELANDER 4 berth valued at £7,500.

Anyone who saw anything or any caravans being moved at the time of the incident is asked to contact police.

A Sussex Police spokesman said, “In view of the weather conditions it would have been very unusual to have been moving a caravan and we are appealing for any potential witnesses to try and identify the vehicles used to move these caravans.”
