Camper van blaze in Pevensey Bay

Firefighters were called to a camper van blaze in Pevensey Bay yesterday (Tuesday).

Crews were sent to Grenville Road around 3.30pm where they tackled the flames wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets.

According to East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, they used an environmental pack and crews ‘spent time damping down’.
