The 165.9m2 unit, which opens out to the concourse at the front of the station, is up for lease online and is adjacent to the new ticket office.

It has combined several smaller shopping units and a former side entrance next to the taxi rank.

This comes as part of major works to the station, including creating a new entrance, providing new toilets, and an all-new ticket office.

It is rumoured the new retail unit could become an M&S Food or small Waitrose, but this has not been verified by Southern Rail, which owns the station.
