Official opening date announced for Eastbourne H&M

The official opening date of the new H&M in the Arndale extension has been revealed.

The popular high street clothing store will open its doors on Friday, September 28 at 11am.

Covering a floor space in excess of 1,892 m2, based over two floors, the shop will have a full Ladies, Divided, Men’s, Baby & Kidswear sections available.

Toni Galli, H&M’s manager for the UK and Ireland, said, “We are delighted to be opening a brand new store at The Arndale Shopping Centrethis September. Providing our customers with the best shopping experience possible is always our goal and we are confident that our new Eastbourne store will offer exactly this.”

The first 200 people in the queue will receive a goodie bag and all customers who join the queue before 11am will receive a 25 per cent discount wristband to redeem against their entire purchase that day.

There will also be a live DJ playing all day to celebrate the shiny new store, which is open until 5.30pm.

It is the first store of the multi-million pound Arndale extension – soon to be called The Beacon – to announce its official opening.

Founded in Sweden in 1947, H&M opened its first UK shop in 1976. Forty years later, the UK and Ireland portfolio has grown to include in excess of 264 stores.
