Disappointment as Eastbourne H&M opening delayed

The first Arndale extension store will not be opening on Friday (September 28) as planned.

Excitement had been growing for fashion retailer H&M’s grand opening, which would have marked the beginning of the multi-million pound extension’s much anticipated unveiling.

But in a statement today (September 25) the company said, “In order for us to deliver the best customer experience we will not be opening our Eastbourne store on Friday September 28.

“We sincerely apologise and will update all of our customers when we have a new opening date confirmed.”

The shop’s doors had been set to open at 11am, with a live DJ and prizes and offers for the first customers in the queue.

Covering a floor space in excess of 1,892 m2, based over two floors, when it opens the shop will have a full Ladies, Divided, Men’s, Baby & Kidswear sections available.
