Burglars enjoy Eastbourne home while occupants away on holiday

Burglars enjoyed an Eastbourne home while its occupants were away on holiday, police say.

A number of individuals are said to have entered and used the property in Jevington Gardens on August 31, said Sussex Police.

If anyone has any information, contact police with the reference 1173 of 31/08.

This comes as officers have received reports of a number of burglaries in Eastbourne over the past weeks.

A shed was broken into and painting items stolen in Austen Walk on September 1 (reference: 1256).

Then a key was stolen from a property on Tamarak Close on September 5 (reference 0252).

On the same day, jewellery was stolen from a home in WoodCroft Drive (reference 0216).
