BREAKING: Seaford couple found not guilty in child cruelty case

Aideen Jones, 62, and her husband Denis William Jones, 65, of Sandgate Close, Seaford, had been charged with offences relating to two boys.

The couple were both found not guilty of all charges at Chester Crown Court.

Their solicitor, Chris Saltrese, said afterwards, “I am delighted for Mr and Mrs Jones and their family and friends that the jury have reached the correct verdicts and that my clients leave court with their good reputations intact.

“My clients are extremely grateful to judge, jury and defence counsel in ensuring that justice was done. This case has cost my clients their jobs and their savings and has caused them untold distress.”
