Drugs raids are being carried out in Eastbourne town centre this morning (Thursday, July 9).
More than 30 officers are currently searching two addresses in Willowfield Road.
The operation is code named Minatour and officers believe the two houses are being used to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Eastbourne police commander, chief inspector Emma Brice, said, “Intelligence has revealed drug dealing is taking place in alleyways around the property and in the street.
“It’s positive police action responding to reports of anti-social behaviour from members of the public.
“It’s really important to me to support the people of Eastbourne and respond when there’s an increase in anti-social behaviour.”
