BREAKING: Eastbourne Lifeboat called to Beachy Head

Eastbourne Lifeboat have been called to Beachy Head after reports of a person in the water this afternoon (Thursday).

A RNLI spokesman confirmed its inshore lifeboat is currently responding to the call in the Beachy Head area.

The Coastguard rescue helicopter is assisting with their search.
