PARENTS and children at Hankham Primary School gave very generously to this year’s Christmas Love in a Box appeal.

The appeal is organised by Eastbourne-based Mustard Seed Relief Mission charity, which helps orphaned and deprived children in Eastern Europe.

Children brought in shoeboxes and each class filled them with small gifts and toys.

This year the school contributed 52 filled shoeboxes to the charity.

Headteacher Mike Round said, “We are always very pleased that Hankham School is able to contribute to such a worthy cause.”
