Bloody handprints found outside Eastbourne shops

Bloody handprints and a large pool of blood were left outside several shops in Eastbourne on Wednesday night (December 9).

The blood was found outside premises in Terminus Road – including W H Smith and the outdoors shop Trespass – the following morning.

Police say a white man aged between 25 and 35 with a bleeding hand. had been seen on the road at around 11.28pm on Wednesday.

He was with another man and declined medical assistance.

It was thought his wound may have been self-inflicted.
