FRIENDS OF TIDE MILLS: The Friends of Tide Mills have just completed their November meeting, where in cold but bright weather, 21 of us collected 14 sacks of assorted rubbish and several much bulkier items. This amount of rubbish is disappointing given the slowly reducing amounts we have been collecting this year. Most of this material continues to come in from the sea and, as reported globally, is fishing industry related, the fact that those who make their living from the sea are culpable in polluting the sea in this way makes no sense at all. Our last meeting of 2018 is on Sunday December 16 (when we will be participating in our annual Christmas Picnic). Our meetings are always the third Sunday of the month, if interested in joining our friendly little band, please contact myself at [email protected] Alternately at http://www.friends oftidemills.webs.com/

FREE HORSE MANURE: Is available on west (Newhaven) side of Bishopstone Road between Bishopstone Estate and Bishopstone Pond. Help yourself, but please return or replace the bags.
