A WHIST DRIVE: Tomorrow, Saturday, at 7.30pm in the Bishopstone Parish Hall. Admission including refreshments, £2.50. The event is in aid of Bishopstone Parish Hall.

BEACH CLEAN: Tide Mills Community Beach Clean, 10am to noon on Sunday. Meet at the beach end of Mill Drove (off the A259). Come along, grab a bag and a litter picker, and help clean up the area for visitors and the local wildlife.

FREE HORSE MANURE: Is available on west (Newhaven) side of Bishopstone Road between Bishopstone Estate and Bishopstone Pond: help yourself, but please return or replace the bags.

HELP WANTED: If you have a few hours to spare now and then to keep St Andrew’s Church open for visitors, then please help by filling in the rota; the church also needs additional help in completing its cleaning rota. The Bishopstone St Andrew’s is the oldest church in the area, built well over one thousand years ago in Saxon times probably to house the original shrine of St Lewinna, discover the church’s fascinating history.
