MOTHERING SUNDAY: Mothering Sunday Service on Sunday, at 10.15am in St Andrew's Church. Children and grandchildren are welcome to this Eucharist service.

SUNG EUCHARIST: And Annual Seaford Fairtrade Service on Sunday, at 4pm. There will be special hymns, prayers and a talk by Eileen and Tony Delaney. Refreshments will be available in the tower after the service.

SPRING SHOW: The Bishopstone Horticultural Spring Show is on Saturday, March 19, at Bishopstone Parish Hall. The show includes classes for horticulture and home produce, plus winemaking, photography, art and handicrafts. Schedules and entry forms are available from Linda’s Stores, St Andrew’s Church and Eadric House.

A WHIST DRIVE: Is on Saturday, March 19, at 7.30pm in the Bishopstone Parish Hall. Admission including refreshments, £2.50.

BEACH CLEAN: The Tide Mills Community Beach Clean is from 10am to noon on Sunday March 20. Meet at the beach end of Mill Drove (off the A259). Come along, grab a bag and a litter picker, and help clean up the area for visitors and the local wildlife.

HORSE MANURE: Lots of free horse manure is available on west (Newhaven) side of Bishopstone Road between Bishopstone Estate and Bishopstone Pond: help yourself, but please return or replace the bags.
