Bicycle worth £500 stolen from Seaford garden

Police in Seaford are investigating the theft of a distinctive bicycle stolen from the front garden of a house in Hythe Crescent last week.

The jump bicycle was taken between 10pm on Friday (January 16) and 10am on Saturday (January 17) from the Seaford home.

It is similar to a mountain bike and has a black frame bearing the logo “Identity”. It has large forks, a white Halo rear wheel with a red hub and a gold-coloured chain. It is valued at around £500.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the bicycle or anything about the theft is asked to email or phone 101, quoting serial 682 of 17/1. Alternatively, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
