The annual Bible by the Beach event will be coming back to Eastbourne over the first May Bank Holiday weekend (May 1-4).
It will set up its usual home at the Congress Theatre and provide a packed timetable of seminars, talks, interviews, worship, and separate children and youth programmes.
Since 2009, Bible by the Beach has welcomed speakers from all over the world, including Archbishop of Jos, Nigeria, Ben Kwashi and Diocesan Bishop of Southern Argentina, Greg Venables.
This year’s programme looks set to promise a similar international line up of speakers for the adults, including American Theologian and writer Richard Pratt, and leader of London City Mission, Graham Miller who will be focusing on this year’s theme ‘Unstoppable- The mission of God’.
On May 2, Paul Kerensa, Christian stand up comedian will be taking to the stage to provide the evening’s entertainment. Tickets are free to Bible by the Beach delegates or can be purchased for £5 from the Congress Box Office 01323 412000.
There is something for all ages at Bible by the Beach. A creche is provided for pre-school children while school aged children and teenagers will enjoy their own varied and exciting programme of Bible teaching, music and games.
Not only that, children will be given the opportunity to show off their dance moves, singing voices and craft on the Congress Theatre stage.
