A JAZZ concert and all- day beer event helped to wow the crowds at the Chiddingly arts festival.

A peal of church bells opened the popular annual event, which is the 33rd of its kind to take place.

The sun shone at the weekend which saw crowds flock to the all day beer festival on Saturday, complete with live music, Middle Eastern dance and African drumming workshops.

On Sunday the renowned Art and Craft Exhibition attracted its usual very high standard of local artists and makers. The Sea Gypsies dance troupe, Chiddingly Mummers and Morris Men and Women provided the outside entertainment.

The festival continues this week until Sunday October 2 with more comedy from Shappi Khorsandi (sold out), music from The Carnival Band and much more.
