BBC1’s popular weekend show Saturday Kitchen will feature some pre-recorded pieces filmed in Eastbourne this week (August 27).
Filming was done in the Ocean Suite on Eastbourne pier, the town centre, the beach and Herstmonceux Castle back in June.
The programme - which runs from 10am until 11.30am each Saturday - is presented by Cyrus Todiwala and Tony Singh on Saturday.
They are helped by chefs Dan Doherty and Selin Kiazim, while Hattie Morahan faces her ‘food heaven or food hell’ challenge.
Eastbourne Pier owner Sheikh Abid Gulzar said, “We were delighted to welcome a top BBC1 show onto our iconic site, as well as to other parts of Eastbourne.
“As I have said from the day I bought the pier, we must promote Eastbourne to the nation - and what a better way than this.
“Once again, through our pier and beach, the beauty of Eastbourne will be seen by millions of viewers, which can only be good for our town.”
